Those cheapo eBay sleeves, with good shocks and even okay springs is just as good as a low-end (height adjustable only) coilover setup.

Ehh, it all depends on how much ride quality matters to you. Personally, I like a firm ride, so a decent (not rock hard) set of springs would be better than your typical rock hard coilovers.

I mean...if you were going to go that way, you owe it to yourself to get Ground Controls and do it right. The principle works, yes, but there’s no part on eBay someone hasn’t figured out how to screw up. And if you’re doing the setup correctly, your shocks will cost more than the springs anyway.
